To make an appointment to see the doctor please phone our helpful and experienced reception staff on 028 9074 1188 Group image of reception stafffor use our online appointment facility (see below). If your circumstances change and you will not be needing your booked appointment please inform the reception asap so that the time can be reallocated to another patient.

Please note that a standard appointment is of 10 minutes duration. If you feel your condition is such that you will need longer than this kindly inform the receptionist and we will schedule a longer appointment for you.

Urgent Appointments

If you have an urgent issue please tell reception and you will be seen the same day by the first doctor or nurse, as appropriate, that becomes available. Urgent appointments are intended to deal with the immediate problem. Please do not bring up unrelated issues during this appointment.

Home Visits

If you are too ill or frail to attend the surgery and require a home visit please telephone reception before 10:30 am if possible. In the case of children, your child will be seen sooner if you can bring him / her to the surgery.

Telephone Triage

If you have a health concern and would like to discuss it with a doctor please contact reception before 11.30am briefly stating your concern and ask for a doctor to call you back.

Out Of Hours Cover

If a medical condition arises out side of surgery hours that can't wait until it reopens contact the N&W Urgent Care Out of Hours Centre on 028 9074 4447. A doctor will advise you and, if necessary, arrange to see you at the Out of Hours Centre which is located across the road from the Mater Hospital.

Temporary Resident

If you are ill while away from home you can receive emergency treatment from a local General Practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.
